Moorelands Camp Dining Hall Model

Moorelands Camp Dining Hall is a vernacular shaped building that is modernized through its layered structure of glulam and pine members. The glulam frame is helped by steel wires which support pine 2x4 and 4x10 beams and rafters. Members are attached using bolts and raw plywood is used for the decking and floors. Moorelands Camp Dining Hall is unique in that it brings the simple wooden tent to the next level.

Model built in collaboration with Abbey Slinker.
