New signage for UMA Augusta and Bangor Campuses. The idea is to catch people’s attention. Why not use our beautiful moose, that is a symbol of our identity here at UMA, to attract our visitors’ eyes?
Unfortunately, the statue is currently hidden near the farmhouse. This sign is visible from all sides and is made from quality material that can resist the test of time. A granite structure will hold the statue and help make it even more visible from far away. Flowers could even be planted on the platform around the moose, bringing a punch of color to it all. We chose to use a copper colored metal sheet to display the name of the university. The letters will be cut in the metal to show the stone behind. At night, the metal plate will be illuminated from behind.
