In this project we were invited to create a space to honor and cherish the memory of our lost ones. My project consisted to make people feel like they can leave the ground behind them for a moment, and recall the person they lost in a place that is in between the world of the living and the dead. To achieve this, I played with rays of lights coming through the walls, creating contrast with darkness, and also a roof structure that will remind of the unreachable cosmos. A bridge comes across the monument to represent the change between the two worlds.
